This funky psychedelic magic mushroom planter is definitely an unusual piece. I am assuming, based on the design, initials on the bottom and the crazing to the glaze, that this was made by an art student in the late 1960s to 1970s. It is actually quite beautiful in it's own unique way, there are a number of different types and colors of mushrooms painted around the bottom of the planter. This is a really cool item to have in your home and will be a great conversation piece.
