Royal Staffordshire 1907 Iris Bowl Cobalt Blue Black Gold
This Royal Staffordshire bowl is in the "Iris" pattern. The design is a cobalt blue with black & gold trim. My research shows that this is considered a "flow blue" plate, although to me it seems less "flowy" than other items I have seen in this glaze. There are some small chips on the rim of the bowl (obviously, this was used in someone's home at one point), but is in good shape considering the age of the piece. This pattern was originated in 1907 and is sought after by collectors of English china. It appears that it is somewhat scarce according to my research.
