Price Kensington Pink Stripe Floral Teapot Purple Flower Gilded
This lovely little Price & Kensington teapot is adorable. It has pink stripes and white sections with hand-painted purple & pink flowers, and is gilded with gold paint on the rims, handle & spout. It stands approximately 6" high. This maker's mark was used after 1963, and it appears that this teapot was produced in the 1960s - early 1970s. There is some crazing, but no chips or cracks. The company is still in business, but I could not find anything on line showing this particular design. An interesting bit of history - the Price & Kensington factory opened in 1896, and is rumored to be haunted.
