This unique Tricorne by Salem (Ohio) triangle shaped 12" plate has a very Art Deco/Atomic Age look. The design was patented in 1935 (as is shown on the maker's mark), and the design came in a variety of colors & patterns. This plate is the only one I've seen with the orange stripes only inside (often the rim is orange, or the stripes are orange & black). There is some crazing, some minor stains, and there may be a chip or two - but it is still an awesome piece for anyone who collects Art Deco or Atomic/Space Age items.
