Sterling Vitrified China Ohio Airbrush Serving Platter 1955 Mid-Century Restaurant Ware
This great mid-century Sterling "Vitrified China" restaurant ware platter was produced in East Liverpool Ohio in 1955 (based on the date code on the maker's mark). The design has an "airbrushed" black glaze which fades out to charcoal, then to gray. There are some signs of use, but with minimal crazing and chips considering that this was most likely used regularly. It is a great addition to a mid-century themed kitchen or collection.
