This brown ashtray appears to be California pottery, based on the "3503 USA" debossed mark on the back. It was most likely produced in the 1950s - 1970s. It has some crazing, and what appears to be a spot where the glaze was "missed" in manufacturing. It is a great example of mid-century style and will be a great addition for an ashtray collector, or just to use as a candy or trinket dish.
