This beautiful small plate with handle is marked "handpainted Japan" with an "M" mark with laurels (Moriyama Morimachi). The plate rim is covered in beautiful orange, black & gold with an orange & gold floral design in the center. The handle is also gilded. This is a beautiful example of mid-century Japanese porcelain, and will be a great addition to any collection. There is some paint loss (it appears that this was used by its original owner since the paint loss is in the center), but it is still a great piece!
