This cute little trinket dish/bowl has a retro-style floral motif around the rim, and is marked "Weidmann Porzellan Prodotto Italiano" (made in Italy). It appears to have been produced in the 1960s - 1970s, although I was not able to find much information on the company. This item was most likely purchased while its prior owner was in Europe and brought back to the US, since it doesn't appear this company did much import business with the US. It would be a great gift for a vanity dish to hold lipsticks or hair ties.
