This set of vintage salt & pepper shakers was made in Japan, and features a blue and peach lustreware finish that was quite popular in the 1920s - 1930s. There is a nicely detailed motif with a bird in the branches of a flowering tree. There is a tiny bit of paint loss, but this is still in very good condition for its age. This set would make a great gift for a collector of S&P shakers, or someone who collects made in Japan lustreware items.
