This pretty cup & saucer set features a delicate rose pattern with gilding around the rim of the saucer & the cup. It is marked "Hand Painted Nippon" with the "rising sun" mark. This is a wonderful example of Nippon porcelain, and has no cracks or chips and minimal (if any) crazing. There is some wear to the gilding, as would be expected in an item dating from the 1920s.
