This little saucer is dated 1964 per the back mark. It was made by Royal Adderly/Ridgeway Potteries and is the maple leaf tartan pattern, with gold detail on the rim. From my research, it appears that the maple leaf tartan was created in 1964 for the 100th anniversary of Canada's confederation in 1967, and has became the "official" tartan of Canada in 2011. There is a bit of paint wear throughout the design, but it is still an interesting plate and would look nice as a display on a shelf.
