Vintage Japan Planter Trinket Dish Dog Beagle

This cute vintage made in Japan planter/trinket dish features an adorable dog (appears to be a beagle) holding out its paw for a "handshake". It is marked "Japan" with a shamrock inside a wreath, which apparently belongs to Nippon Yoko Boeki Co. This would have been produced in the 1950s. There are no chips or cracks and minimal crazing.
