This cute vintage made in Japan planter features two pigs playing musical instruments (a drum & a cello). They are dressed in brightly colored outfits, and are smiling. The maker's mark shows "made in Japan" with an image of a bird sitting in a tree. I have not been able to find any information on this mark. The planter is in good condition, with no chips or cracks and minimal paint loss/crazing.
