This nice vintage saucer/tea plate is in the "Yuan" pattern and was produced by Wood & Sons, England. It is marked with a crane & the "RD NO656368". The pattern is an interesting one to collect, as different sized plates have different central designs, featuring an assortment of birds surrounded by foliage. This pattern was produced from 1916 through the 1930s. This item has no chips or cracks, and some crazing/wear to the glaze (as can be expected of an item of this age).
