This aqua blue creamer is marked "Melmac by Kenro, Fredonia, Wis" and also includes the patent number. Many people use the term "Melmac" to describe any melamine item...however, Melmac was a brand name. Melamine wares were popular in the 1950s and 1960s but eventually lost favor due to their tendency to scratch & hold stains. This is a cute & functional item as long as you don't use it in the microwave - it will heat up excessively and eventually crack.
