This vintage lidded bowl is a deep cobalt blue color with a cream floral embossed design. The makers mark shows Marzi & Remy 2727 and it also shows "made in Germany" on bottom. The company started making the blue/cream pottery in 1883, and this piece most likely dates from sometime prior to WWII since the mark was used until 1962 (and does not designate East or West). It is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks and minimal signs of wear.
