This colorful plate has red, blue, yellow, and green in an elaborate design. There are flowers, bamboo, gilding, and what appear to be smiling faces inside a pale yellow flower. It is marked with Japanese characters and "Imari Ware Japan" in English. It is approximately 6". This plate is relatively modern, most likely from the later part of the 20th century. It is still very attractive, and will make a nice decorator piece.
