This beautiful mustache cup & saucer set features a deep cobalt & white curved line design radiating from the center/bottom of each piece. There is also a gilded ivy leaf & vine design throughout, and the handle has an unusual "rope" pattern in gold. It was produced by Tettau Schmidt & Greiner (which later became Royal Beyreuth), and the makers mark is dated from 1885 - 1902. This set is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks and minimal crazing/paint loss considering its age.
