This beautiful cake plate features a pink floral design around the rim with a gilded design in the center. There is also a thick gilded scalloped rim with handles on each side of the plate. It is marked "B & H Limoges" in a shield (B45b mark) and "Blakeman & Henderson - Limoges France" in script (B45c mark). B&H Limoges was in business from the 1890s - early 1900s. It also has "Henry Kohn & Sons, Hartford Conn", which was a retailer who sold this item. It is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks and minimal crazing/paint loss. It appears that it was never used, and most likely was only a display piece.
