R Hammersley Rhine Pattern Dinner Plate Red River Scene 1890s Antique
This dinner plate features an image of boats on the Rhine river, with a castle and bridge in the background. It also has a floral scroll pattern around the rim. It is marked "Rhine, R. Hammersley". R. Hammersley was an English transferware porcelain maker, and from what I've found it appears that this mark was from the 1890s. It is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks and minimal crazing/paint loss.
