This pretty plate features a floral wreath design with ivy leaves, and a gilded scalloped rim. It is marked only "XY" in gilded paint on the back. From the style and the design, it is most likely from Germany or Austria and would date to the early 1900s (before location marks were required). It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, and minimal crazing/paint loss.
